Why The Big Fuss Over Clouds?

Recommended Posts

Can someone enlighten me as to why the rating threads report clouds produced when smoking?

I like shisha based on flavor, and yeah big clouds go with flavor from my experience, but is there some other reason that clouds even matter when it comes to the hookah experience??? scratch_one-s_head.gif

It's about preference.

Smoking = clouds

IF you just want flavor I guess you can go eat some candy or something laugh.gif

It just fulfills the hookah experience. If all I wanted was flavor I'd eat a peach. For me I like what I consider the practical science of hookahs. About the only part I could do without is cleaning.
Other than that I like all the different things involved in setting up a good smoke nearly as much as sitting and smoking it.
So there's a lot of things that go into a setup that would be hard for some people to understand. I have to get every facet near perfection to really enjoy it.

Blowing smoke rings requires clouds, and thats one of my favorite parts. Usually the correlation between cloud size and flavor exists which is why SB is so elite, best clouds and best flavor.

I would have to agree with the others that say its a direct indicator of how well the session is going.

And a step further, when the smoke is not thick (using low-cloud tobaccos), you don't get that positive reinforcement that the session is going well (even if it is).

well, when i started smoking hookah, i smoked cigarettes. and my cousin was like "dude if we had hookah, id be able to teach you how to blow rings super easy." then he told me that there are none of the extra chemicals and/or nicotine/tar from hookah. then he told me that you get huge smoke from it. so i bought one. mostly because the clouds and flavor part. at the time i didnt care what i was smoking was worst than cigarettes were because i smoked those anyways. but i smoke hookah exclusively now. everyone on campus knows my friends and i as the hookah guys. some even paid us a couple hundred bucks to bring our pipes to their parties.

drunken bastards broke one of my phunnels and made a coconara fall on my km ultimate hose. but the profit i made covered it. lol.

Have you ever smoked in the dark? It's no fun. Seeing the smoke is part of smoking! smile.gif
The smoke volume of hookah smoking as we know it these days, it can be huge. But it dissipates rapidly, and leaves little after-odor. So I can make clouds of smoke, guilt free. biggrin.gif Edited by smoke eater

Well lets see,, there is something magical about when you start to pull, and you watch the vase turn white with billowing smoke. Knowing that all of that smokey goodness is simultaneously polluting your inermost soul. And when your lungs are filled to capacity, and you just cant hold it in anymore. Releasing all of that, in a huge cloud of flavorful ecstacy.. Well lets just say its climactic..

I'm getting excited just thinking about it wub.gif Edited by fcbayern
